OverWater Marina is set in Cheshire, just a 20-minute walk from the pretty canal side village of Audlem on the Shropshire Union Canal. The village has a wide range of shops, cafes and pubs. For more information on Audlem, visit Audlem Online.

If you love to walk in the countryside, enjoy nature or just relaxing, you'll find us ideal! There are a range of walks in the area – you can pick up a leaflet from reception.

Fancy visiting one of the many quaint market towns nearby – try Nantwich, known for having among the highest concentration of listed buildings in England, Whitchurch, the oldest continually inhabited town in Shropshire or Market Drayton, famous for its Gingerbread and its bustling weekly market.

You can also visit the historic city of Chester and walk its magnificent medieval city walls, or simply spend time down by the River Dee.Both Shrewsbury, the county town of Shropshire and Stoke on Trent, famous for its world-renowned pottery are also within reach with excellent shopping facilities.

Audlem Lass (raising money for the RNLI)
The Audlem Lass Boat Service operates every weekend and bank holiday from Easter to late October. Running between Overwater and Audlem bottom lock, it's then just a short walk to the pubs, shops and cafe's of Audlem.

Suggested cash donation is £1 for adults each way (children 50p) and dogs are free and very welcome.
